ITINERARY

DAY 1 : MUMBAI – IMPHAL :

Meet Maitri Groups Tour Manager at Mumbai Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport board flight to Imphal. On arrival at Imphal airport proceed with ILP formalities & transfer to hotel. Evening visit Kangla Fort. Overnight in Imphal. (L,D)

DAY 2 : IMPHAL-LOKTAK- IMPHAL:

Today visit the largest freshwater lake in North East India - Loktak Lake. Enjoy Boating also known as Floating Lake. Enroute visit Imphal Peace Museum, Japanese War Memorial, for the Japanese who had fought the British during the Second World War. Stay at Imphal. (B, L, D)

DAY 3 : IMPHAL – KOHIMA:

Drive to Kohima, visit Kisama Heritage Village - it’s a permanent site for the Annual Hornbill Festival, proceed to Kohima Cathedral - The church is noted for its architecture which incorporates many elements of traditional Naga houses, including its facade which resembles that of a Naga house. Evening free for Relaxation. Stay at Kohima. (B, L, D)

DAY 4 : KOHIMA-KHONOMA:

After breakfast, visit Kohima War Cemetery & proceed to Khonoma Village - Asia's first Green Village. Explore the village by walking around & exploring the unique culture & traditions of the village. You will be experiencing the real Naga village life. Return to Kohima. Lunch & Stay at Kohima. (B, L, D)

DAY 5: KOHIMA – IMPHAL:

Drive back to Imphal On arrival Enjoy Traditional Lunch & Explore Ima Market the Traditional Market, A unique all-women's market, has 3000 “Imas” or mothers who run the stalls, it is split into two sections on either side of the road selling commodities of daily need. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Evening visit Govindajee Temple to attend the evening Aarti. Stay at Imphal. (B, L, D)

DAY 6: IMPHAL – KAKCHING - MOREH:

Leave early for Moreh -the Indo Myanmar Border Enroute visit Kakching Garden, & enjoy the beautiful ride via Tengnoupal Town , the route itself is historic as these routes were used by both allied and Japanese forces during world war II. Spend some time exploring the border town, and take a photograph in front of the iconic Indo-Myanmar border bridge. After Lunch drives back to Imphal enroute. Stay at Imphal. (B, L, D)

DAY 7: IMPHAL- AGARTALA:

Breakfast & proceed to Imphal Airport & board the scheduled flight to Agartala. On arrival transfer & Hotel Check Inn. . Visit the Indo-Bangladesh border at the Akhuara Check Gate. Stay at Agartala. (B, L, D)

DAY 8 : AGARTALA:

After breakfast & proceed to visit Tripureswari Temple & visit the Neermahal, Tripura's major tourist attraction which is located at a distance of 55 Kms from Agartala. It is a summer resort built in the middle of a lake named Rudrasagar, with a total area of about 5.35 sq. km. It is the only lake palace in Eastern India and has been built in a mixture of Hindu and Mughal styles. Evening visit Ujjayanta Palace, which was built in the Indo-Saracenic style in 1901 by Maharaja Radha Kishore Manikya. Overnight in Agartala. (B, L, D)

DAY 9 : AGARTALA-UNAKOTI-AGARTALA:

Early morning day trip to Unakoti, ancient stone sculptures with numerous rock-cut images of gods & goddesses stand here majestically. Gigantic Rock Structure - murals are found on hillsides. According to the Department of Archeology, the statue of Lord Shiva dates back to the 8th or 9th century A.D. Some are of the opinion that the name ‘Unakoti’ denotes ‘one less from one crore’. Stay at Agartala. (B, L, D)

DAY 10 : AGARTALA – AIZAWL:

PProceed to Aizawal by flight, on arrival, complete the ILP formalities in the airport. The scenic capital of Mizoram is a religious & cultural center of the Mizos. The town is blessed with exotic natural beauty & is famous for its handicrafts. It is an ideal hill station for tourists looking for solitude & clean air. On the way proceed to Aizawal Zoological Park. Hotel Check Inn & Lunch. Evening proceed to Soloman Temple. Day free for relaxation. (B, L, D)

DAY 11 : AIZAWL:

Breakfast & Proceed to Reiek Village showcasing the traditional home structure of Mizo tradition, Lunch & Drive back to Aizwal Sightseeing, visit to the State museum - This museum is situated at Macdonald Hill in the town center. Though small, it has an interesting collection of historical relics, ancient costumes & traditional implements, Later proceed to Bara Bazar: This is the main shopping center with stalls selling garments & other commodities. DAY 12: AIZAWL – MUMBAI:

Breakfast & proceed to Airport to board the scheduled flight to Mumbai. Tour End with Happy Memories. (B)
