DAY 2: LEH - KARGIL: |
Today proceed to Kargil. Enroute enjoy the breath-taking scenery & Photo stop at Moon landscape resembles the Lunar surface. Hotel Check Inn & Lunch . Proceed to Vijay Samark (war memorial of Drass) Drass is the Second coldest inhabited place in the world. Evening free for relaxation.(B, L, D) |
DAY 3: KARGIL - LEH: |
On the way back Visit Mulbek Monestry, Fotula pass, Namkila pass, Lamayuru monastery - The oldest monastery in Ladakh, Sangam of Indus & Zanskar River, Magnetic hill, Pathar sahib Gurudwar & Drive to Leh take some memorable snaps on the way. (B, L, D) |
DAY 4: LEH - KHARDUNGLA PASS - NUBRA: |
Drive to Nubra Valley (Known as the Valley of Flowers and the warmest region in Ladakh) via Khardungla Pass. This road is considered to be the highest Motorable road of the world. Enroute admire the spectacular views of the never ending snow-capped mountain ranges around Khardungla Pass (18,390 feet) , spend some time at Khardungla, proceed to Nubra. Hotel check-in, Evening Enjoy Hunder Sand dune double humped Bactrian camel Safari Ride at own. (B, L, D) |
DAY 5: NUBRA – THANG - TURTUK - NUBRA: |
After breakfast drive to Thang the Last village on the Indian border. Lunch at Turktuk. Take a walking tour of the Scenic Baltic Village-Turtuk. Evening stay at Nubra. (B, L, D) |
DAY 6: NUBRA - LEH: |
Visit Maitriya Buddha and drive back to Leh. Evening visit Shanti Stupa, a Peace Pagoda, erected by Japanese Buddhists and Inaugurated by the Dalai Lama. (B, L, D) |
DAY 7: LEH: |
Leh Local Sightseeing Visit Thiksay Monestry, Shey Palace (Photo stop), Sindu Ghat, & later visit Hall of fame. Evening free for Shopping. (B, L, D) |
DAY 8: LEH - PANGONG - LEH: |
Drive to Pangong Lake, Enroute visit Chang La pass (17668 ft). The drive takes you through spectacular, amazing scenery, with breath-taking views of the snow-covered Himalayas, Pangong Lake (14,500 ft.), the largest brackish water lake in Asia, is 4-5 km wide and about 135 km long of which two-third portion lies on the other side of the Indo-China border. Witness the Various shades of Pangong Lake. Travel back to Leh. (B, L, D) |
